Hello, I'm Juliana.
Hi, I'm Juliana. I'm the person behind Botanic Photography, and I have a soft spot for beautiful places, natural light, and the wonderfully messy magic of family life.
I don't believe family photographs need to be perfectly posed to be beautiful. In fact, some of my favorite photographs are the ones that happen between the poses — a child reaching for a parent's hand, siblings laughing, someone wandering off to investigate something interesting, or a family simply enjoying being together.
My Approach
My sessions are designed to be relaxed and lightly guided. I want you to feel at ease, focusing on your family while I capture the genuine interactions that make your bond unique. I'll provide gentle direction to ensure beautiful light and composition, but I primarily aim to document the authentic joy and connection that unfolds naturally.

Why Outdoors?
Nature provides the most beautiful, ever-changing backdrop for family stories. The soft glow of golden hour and the freedom of wide-open spaces allow children to explore and families to simply be themselves. Choosing an outdoor setting creates a sense of adventure and ease that translates into authentic, timeless photographs.

I'd love to photograph your family.
Why outdoors?
There is a special connection between the honesty of family life and the effortless beauty of the natural world. I choose outdoor sessions because they provide families with the room to breathe, explore, and simply be. In the open air, children feel free to run and discover, which allows for those genuine, unscripted moments that studio walls can sometimes constrain. The way natural light filters through the trees or catches a shared laugh creates a soft, editorial quality that feels as timeless as your memories.
